Cyber Airlines!

Hey everybody! There's this great new website that I've been addicted to lately called Cyber Airlines. It's a game where you manage your own virtual airline, and I absolutely love it! The link is below:

Seabeck Day 3

Day 3: First of all, i am actually typing this on day 4 because i got home really late last night but ill talk about that later. I woke up around 7 am and i went to cafe Lawrence. Then i hung out with joe at the inn until it was time to go to breakfast. Breakfast was two of my favorite things, sausages and pancakes. After breakfast i hung out with my friends and talked until it was time for the morning program. My group went to this place called Wildcat lake about 7 miles down the road. The drive was about 4 times longer than it should have been because we took a bunch of wrong turns. All of us mags hung out and went in the water until lunch. We had sandwiches and apple juice at the lake before starting a giant canadians vs. Americans volleyball game. After that we went the right way back to camp and hung out. I didnt do much during the afternoon except boating and chillin in the inn. I got to social hour early to get to the snacks but apparently everybody had the same idea as me so i had to beg for oreos. After social hour my family headed down to seabeck pizza to have some dinner. After dinner we all played foursquare and roamed around the campus. We attempted to start a game of war in the woods but everybody was arguing so it was called off. We then hung out and played some weird version of volleyball. Then i headed to moonstruck for the first time. There was no space for me and ricky to sit so we headed to the a frame to hang out with some of our friends. We ended up getting into a long conversation and we started painting on the big canvas in the mag lounge. After that we had to clean off brushes and by then it was about a quarter to 11 and my mom was super pissed at me when i got home.

Seabeck Day 2

Day 2: Today was probably the best day i've ever had at seabeck! All of us woke up super early and went to cafe lawrence to get hot cocoa. I hung out around the inn for a while until breakfast. We had sausage patties and potato squares for breakfast. After breakfast i hung out with joe, alex, ricky, and some of my other friends as we played four square. Eventually it was time for the morning singing and my first day as a mag! We all played a game dealing with cool facts about each other and planned something im not authorized to tell anyone about until after it happens. We also talked about going to scenic beach tomorrow. After the mag program we played more four square before having lunch. After lunch i roamed around camp before settling down with my tablet in the inn and emailing people. Once it cleared up and got warmer, i took my swim test and boat test and completed them in under 30 minutes! Then i chilled some more and hung out until social hour. I overindulged at social hour and lets just say i made a disappearance for about half an hour. Dinner was so so but it got fun right after. I hung out with issi and alex and ricky on the playground and wrote the script for the skit ricky, spencer, marcus, and i are doing for the talent show. Then i roamed around until about 8:45 when i started watching some funny videos with gabe, joseph, and ricky. Then i played some game that was similar to volleyball with joe and sean and other people before heading back to my room.

Seabeck Day 1

Day 1: Today was mostly traveling. We picked up keldog at 10:30 and we got to LAX at about 11. We were all worried that we would miss our flight but security was a breeze and we had 30 minutes to spare. My mom went off to go get coffee while keldog and lucy went off to buy water and gum. Apparently lucy asked keldog if she could get a toy and keldog ended up getting us all toys. My mom obviously didnt approve of that. After we boarded the flight we all got settled and started watching tv. When the plane landed, my mom rushed us to the baggage claim and the rental car counter where we all got bored so keldog gave us candy. About half way from the airport to seabeck lucy started asking us how much longer every five minutes. Lets just say i was so relieved to hear that finally stop. When we got here we all said hi to our relatives and got our name tags. We put our stuff in our room and hung out until dinner. After dinner, we went to the orientation at the meeting house and the individual house meetings. Then we had ice cream bars and hung out until we came back to our room where i am writing this now.

AHHH!!!

Man! I keep forgetting about this blog! Anyway, here's a funny joke I found on the interwebs.

Every night, Harold would go down to the supermarket, get a pack of
soda, bring it home, and drink it while he watched TV. One night, as
he finished his last soda, the doorbell rang. He opened the door and
found a six-foot cockroach standing there. The bug grabbed him by the
collar and threw him across the room, and left.

The next night, after he finished his 3rd soda, the doorbell rang.

He walked slowly to the door and found the same six-foot cockroach
standing there. The big bug punched him in the stomach, then left.

The next night, after he finished his 1st soda, the doorbell rang
again. The same six-foot cockroach was standing there. This time he
was kneed in the groin and hit behind the ear as he doubled over in
pain. Then the big bug left.

The fourth night Harold didn't drink any soda at all. The doorbell
rang. The cockroach was standing there. The bug beat the snot out of
Harold and left him in a heap on the living room floor.

The following day, Harold went to see his doctor. He explained events
of the preceding four nights. "

" What can I do? " he pleaded.

" Not much " he doctor replied. " There's just a nasty bug going around."

And a tongue twister!

I would If I could

How Can I

I could
Could you?

Area 51

Finally, I'm back! So anyway, I've kinda had a mini obsession over Area 51 lately, and so I've been searching it up on the internet a lot. The strange thing is that the government denied it's existence, but it shows up on google maps. Anyways, I noticed that Area 51 has 35 reviews for it! So I looked at them and most people just pretended that they were aliens saying that the service was decent but they only had a burger king, or they refused to repair my spaceship, etc. These are the kind of people that are ruining the Internet. Now instead of boring you with some long annoying rant, I'm going to say bye and eat some koos koos (or however you spell it).

Ahhhh!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted for a week! I've just been caught up in a bunch of things and forgetting about this blog in my free time, its just wacko! Ill try and post this afternoon when I'm not walking on a busy sidewalk like I am now.

Sorry.....

I might have to restrict my posting down to once a day. I'm sorry, but I'm getting busier, so I don't know if I'll have time. I'll try to post as much as possible, but I might not be able to.

Another Food review, since I've been eating very actively lately...

Hey Readers! So today I was in Downtown LA after running a 5K at USC. I was hungry and in the mood for Mexican food, so I found a place called Rosa Mexicano. They serve all types of mexican food here, and It's not too bad for a joint restaurant, but it's not amazing either. I'm a picky eater, so this review is based on what I think, but everyone likes different things. They give you chips at first, and then they make the salsa and guacamole in front of you. Then you order. I got a beef and cheese quesadilla (BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE HARD SHELL TACOS!!!!), and It was good until the heat came. The beef turned out to be super spicy (which I don't like), so I ended up going hungry. I don't have much else on my mind, so bye for now.

My Tips for Technology

So I decided that since I'm bored to death right now, I should share something that makes my life so much easier. I have an android phone, so I've been exploring it and have found this super useful tool. If you long press an empty space on your home screen, a menu will come up. Touch widgets or Android Widgets, or something similar. Another menu should pop up. This time, select Google Search. When it takes you back to your home screen, touch the microphone on the search widget. You may have to install something, but probably not. Then you can say Call Mom, or Text James, or even say directions to burger king!

Other Blogs these days....

So I read a bunch of blogs during the day on my laptop, but there's this one thing that bugs me about all of them. They are staffed by around 20 to 50 people each, most who are writers. They only crank out maybe 5 posts in a day. Think about my blog. I'm just one single person, and I post 2 or 3 posts per day. That's pretty reasonable, but for 20 people to write 5 posts per day! That's annoying! Now I can only read blogs for 20 minutes a day, then be forced to watch Ninja Cat and Charlie Bit Me a thousand times on YouTube. So any of you big time bloggers out there, POST MORE!!!!!

Todays experience with chocolate

So I walked over to the chocolate store (Edelweiss) today, and I wanted to find something big. I ended up with some milk chocolate chunks, which looked pretty yummy to me. I walked out of the store and took a bite. It tasted a bit like rubber almost. I was slightly annoyed at that, but I figured it would go away. A few bites later, I noticed that the rubbery flavor was unbearable, so I ended up throwing it away. I was shocked that one of my favorite chocolate stores had made such a disgusting product! My reccomendation: If you happen to be at Edelweiss, get something else than the chocolate chunks no matter how much you're tempted. I still have the taste in my mouth now, but hopefully the chinese food I'm gonna have tonight for dinner will wash it away.

My Review on Prime Steak House and Piano Bar

So I was in Park City the other day and I couldn't resist picking up a yummy steak on my last night there. I mean, who doesn't love a good steak? So after a little searching on Yelp, I found the Prime Steakhouse and Piano Bar. It looked yummy, so I decided to go. It was a Tuesday night, so It wasn't busy. The staff was polite and didn't rush me with my choice (I was torn between the Filet and the New York Strip). I ended up ordering the Filet, and I was pretty impressed. I'm not the biggest fan of fatty meat (Except for Bacon), so I thought it would be a good choice. The meat was Nice and tender, and it stayed relatively warm throughout the meal due to the fact that they warm the plates to 500 somewhat degrees. Now back to the steak. It's tender when you bite into it, and it kind of melts in your mouth. It first comes on with all of the flavor you'd expect with an expensive steak, then, it flows away when you swallow it leaving a subtle but pleasing aftertaste. Mmmmmmmmmmmm........ Yummy! So overall I'd reccomend this place to anyone who's in the Salt Lake vicintity who wants a GREAT steak and who's not really on much of a budget. It's an experience really, and I'd give it 4.75 stars.

TWITTER!!!!!!!!!!

Since I can't find any reasonable Follow Me on Twitter button in the preferences, I'm just gonna say follow me on twitter, @RandomJB00 (I have no affiliation with Justin Bieber whatsoever, and I personally despise his music).

My Favorite Musical Artists at the moment

So I ususally have a list of three or so musical artists that I see have a great potential, and now I'm gonna spread it to the webiverse. So first up, we have Jessie J. In case you haven't heard her, she's a 22 year ord brit with a big voice. Her single Price Tag debuted here a while ago, but her album is yet to be released here. Second up is ADELE. She has actually been in the music industry for a few years now, but hasn't been in the spotlight since 2009, but her new album came out a couple months ago, and she's made a comeback. Now I don't have a third artist because nearly everyone who sings these days uses some amount of autotune, so I don't count them. So yeah, that's it for this week!

I've Been Having some Bad Luck with Flights Lately....

So I’ve been having the worst luck with flights lately! So on Saturday, I flew to Salt Lake City to go skiing in Deer Valley. When we were maybe 50 or 100 feet off the ground at Salt Lake City International, the plane tilted sharply upwards and continued flying instead of landing. I was reading this site called askthepilot.com at LAX earlier, and I noticed something about aborted landings, so I kinda knew what was going on. Anyways, the plane kept on flying and turning in the turbulent skies of Utah until about 15 minutes later, we finally landed at SLC. I have a really sensitive stomach (I got super altitude sick after skiing), so I felt miserable that whole time. Now we fast forward to Wednesday afternoon. After catching a movie and some froyo at TCBY, We went to the airport. As we were checking our bags, I noticed our flight was delayed 25 minutes. No big deal, right? So I shrugged it off and moved on. I casually sat and waited around the terminal, amusing myself by texting and watching funny youtube videos. When it came time to board the flight, I packed up and got on like the rest of the crowd on our flight. About 20 or so minutes after takeoff, I noticed the plane was turning sharply towards the Salt Lake City Airport. I was confused until a voice from the cockpit came on the loudspeaker. We were informed that they were turning around and heading back to SLC, and that they would talk to us later on the ground. I was a bit puzzled at the fact that they were just turning around all of a sudden. Whatever it was though, I was glad. I wanted to stay in Utah longer rather than my over-polluted home of SoCal. So we landed in SLC again, and the pilot explained what happened. He didn’t reveal too much, only saying that another flight would come in an hour to take us to LA. When we deplaned, I asked the flight attendant what happened. She replied to me saying that the windshield cracked. I then looked at the cockpit window which had a huge crack on the left side. It apparently happened in mid flight, so They were forced to turn around early. We then amused ourselves for an hour in the terminal until our next flight came. I’m actually on the flight now somewhere above the Mojave desert and it’s like 9:15 or so, so I gotta go. Plus I have to turn off my laptop kuz the pilot said so, so BYE!

Note: This was not posted on the plane, due to the fact that Southwest Airlines doesn’t have inflight internet, and anyways I flat out refuse to pay 10 bucks for an hour and a half of the web
